Scott Walker makes the phony claim that, as County Executive, he has not increased taxes. But by his own numbers, tax levies have increased by $39 million under his administration. He claims his budget is balanced, yet right now the County is $10 million in the red and he borrowed $400 million more to cover his pension deficits. These Wall Street style accounting tricks can’t make his phony numbers look better. It’s a shell game. When it comes to fiscal responsibility, Walker talks the talk but he does not walk the walk.
